Pinocchio Gideon, Honest John, and Coachman Production Cel with Courvoisier Background (Walt Disney, 1940). "You see... I'm collecting stupid little boys." "Stupid little boys?" "You know, the disobedient ones what play hooky from school..." The coachman hatches a nefarious scheme with Honest John and Gideon in this magnificent inked and hand-painted production cel setup from the classic Disney masterpiece Pinocchio. Created for the moments seen at the 52:07 mark of the film, this piece captures a massive image of the trio. The cels are meticulously trimmed to image and mounted to a new cel, displayed over a custom painted background rendered in gouache on board by the Courvoisier Galleries. A rare Courvoisier setup featuring a great trio of villains from the timeless classic Pinocchio! The setup is presented in a 22.5" x 19.5" with a window size of 15" x 12".
