Description
Pinocchio Blue Fairy, Jiminy Cricket, and Pinocchio 4.75" x 3.25" Original Promotional Art (Walt Disney, 1940). "Now remember, Pinocchio, be a good boy, and always let your conscience be your guide." Revisit the magical moment in which the Blue Fairy grants life to Pinocchio, to the amazement of Jiminy Cricket, with this fantastic original promotional art of the movie Pinocchio, for the famous promotional De Baukelaer trading cards. The cards were released with the cookies and chocolates of the Belgian manufacturer, along with an album where the cards could be place to retell the events of the movie. Similar to what appears on screen at the 18:28 timestamp, this original illustration renders the emblematic scene in ink and gouache on a 4.75" x 3.25" board, published as card #21 in the collection. Tape residue can be seen on the bottom edge of the board, and pinholes can be seen on the right corners. Presenting mild handling and edge wear from production and normal age-related toning, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
