Description

Curt Swan and Bob Oskner Action Comics #446 Story Page 4 Original Art (DC Comics, 1975). Journalist Clark Kent plays Superman to prevent a helicopter crash. Of course, Kent is Superman (just in case anybody had missed that story-point), and sometimes he can pull off a super-rescue without changing into the costume. Anyhow, passenger Lois Lane senses a Supermanly intervention but still suspects Kent of being Superman, his ownself. Sometimes that secret-identity shtick is more trouble than it is worth. Classic Swan technique -- many fans consider him the artist for Superman -- enhanced by Oskner's fine grasp of glamour-girl art. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 10" x 15". Light toning and blue-ink editorial marks. Excellent condition.
