Dragon's Lair Dirk the Daring Production Cel with Color Guide Reference Print Group (Don Bluth, 1983). Dashing hero Dirk the Daring looks like he's ready for some rough-and-tumble action, in this great full-figure hand-painted 16 field production cel. Talk is that Netflix is planning on reviving Dirk and damsel in distress Princess Daphne in a feature-length film, so current interest in these characters is pretty high, to say the least. Dirk's in a great action pose, with a figure size measuring about 3.5" tall; the cel is placed over a print background for presentation purposes. With the cel is a hand-colored (with color pencils) print of Dirk in this pose, on 16 field paper; this served as a color model. The drawing has some staple holes in the upper left corner, as well as minor handling and edge wear. The cel also has minor handling wear. Overall condition is Very Good.Auction Info
