Superman: The Animated Series "World's Finest" Batman Production Cel and Master Background (Warner Brothers, 1997). Here's a terrific image of the square jawed crime fighter from the episode "World's Finest" from Superman: The Animated Series. The episode depicts the first meeting of Batman and Superman in the DCAU, when Batman comes to Metropolis in pursuit of the Joker, who has offered to kill Superman for Lex Luthor. This fantastic image was hand-painted on 12 field acetate and paired with the original production background. The background was rendered in gouache on 12 field background board. The cel has a Warner Bros seal and comes complete with a WB Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Warner Bros. Gallery. Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
