Description

Carl Barks Signed Donald Duck Daily Comic Strip Featuring Scrooge McDuck Original Art (King Features Syndicate/Walt Disney, 1983). Donald's quote from his mother is used against him by his Uncle Scrooge in this clever comic strip daily original art, written by Bob Foster and illustrated by Frank Smith. The Uncle Scrooge McDuck character was created by Disney Legend Carl Barks (1901 - 2000) in one of his 1940s comic book stories, so the Disney Studios thought it would be appropriate for this "Good Duck Artist" who created Scrooge McDuck to sign the art. There was a small series of signed strips housed in custom mats and framed that sold out quickly, but here's one still available for the right bid with a rare look inside Scrooge's fabulous Money Bin. The art is in ink over blue penciling on Bristol board measuring approximately 21" x 6" with an image size of 19" x 5.75". The art is in a special mat and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 30.5" x 15.75". A Disney certificate is on the backside. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The art is in Very Good to Fine condition with light handling wear.
