One Hundred and One Dalmatians Cruella De Vil Production Cel from Disneyland's Art Corner Store (Walt Disney, 1961). "My only true love, darling. I live for furs. I worship furs! After all, is there a woman in all this wretched world who doesn't?" This is an original trimmed Art Corner hand-painted production cel of Cruella De Vil on a trimmed cel measuring 9" x 7". Cruella was Marc Davis' final animated project for Disney, and his artistry and style can be clearly seen in this production cel of one of his most iconic characters. This cel was sold at the Art Corner Store inside Disneyland. The original location of the Art Corner on opening day was in the alley-way between The Red Wagon Inn Restaurant and the Plaza Apartments. Once Tomorrowland was completed, it was moved to a building next to the Flight Circle and Moonliner. These original production cels were marked as "Walt Disney Originals" and sold for only $1.25. This rare Art Corner cel is framed to 13" x 15" and has the Gold Art Corner Sticker on the backside of the frame, seen through an opening cut by the framer. The cel is in Fair condition with some paint cracking and lifting. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.Auction Info
