Description
Al Avison (Attributed) - Original Cover Art for Dick Tracy #73 (Harvey, 1953). Chester Gould, Dick Tracy's daddy, would be proud of this crack cover penciled and inked by another cartoonist legend, Al Avison. Avison apes Gould's thick, chunky line style and produces a champ cover of Tracy fighting his foe in a treehouse. The overall art size is 14" x 19" with a 11" x 16" image area.
