Neon Genesis Evangelion "A Man's Battle" Eva Unit 01 Production Cel (Gainax, 1996). To everyone's shock and surprise, at the 19:50 mark of Episode 19 of Neon Genesis Evangelion, the Eva Unit 01 reactivates and fights back. We have in this lot the outstanding image of the Eva Unit 01 with its core exposed and its arm missing, seconds before integrating the Angel's arm to replace its own. This fantastic image of the iconic mech, measures a great image size of 9" x 7.75" hand-painted on the 12 field sized production cel, numbered A19 in the top right corner, with a dramatic shadow seen on top of the gargantuan figure. There is light fading on the linework, and overall, the cel shows minor handling wear from production, with a small piece of paint missing on the shoulder. In Very Good condition
