Ghost in the Shell Motoko Kusanagi Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Production I.G, 1995). "A trash truck? Clever, it changes location every seven minutes. HQ, patch me target info from the district controlling that truck." Chasing after the trails of a hacker, Motoko Kusanagi uses her cyborg enhancements to get information about the trash trucks in the surroundings after Batou gets her a lead on the possible identity of the hacker. From the cult-classic anime film Ghost in the Shell, offered in this lot is a marvelous profile image of Major Motoko Kusanagi. This beautiful image of Motoko, measuring 5.5" x 8" on the 14.25" x 9" hand-painted production cel, numbered F-5 in the top right corner. It can be seen at the 15:33 mark of the film. The included matching animation drawing has Motoko rendered in graphite with colored pencil shading. Overall, the lot shows light handling wear from production use, with faint toning on the top edge of the drawing and some paint from the production cel. The production cel shows some fading on the linework. In Very Good condition.
