Target Comics #5 (Novelty Press, 1940) CGC VF- 7.5 White pages. The android known as the White Streak was the top star of this series, but as so often happened with superheroes, the character had appeared several times without his origin being recounted. That's taken care of in a text story in this issue. The most prominent of the backup features has the debut of Space Hawk, drawn by Basil Wolverton. Other interior artists include Bill Everett (of Sub-Mariner fame) and Carl Burgos (of Human Torch fame), as well as Miss Fury's creator Tarpe Mills. Overstreet 2005 VF 8.0 value = $2,936.
