Golden Boy Kintaro Opening Credits Production Cel and Animation Drawing (AP.P.P., 1995). Prepare to join Kintaro Oe as he searches for knowledge and a new job with this immediately recognizable hand-painted production cel from the iconic opening sequence of the OVA Golden Boy. Featuring the song "Golden Boy" or "Opening," composed by Joyo Katayanagi (known for his work on Black Magic M-66 and Power Dolls), this splendid opening had Kintaro gearing up and riding his beloved Crescent Moon bike. Numbered A9 in the top right corner, this 12-field cel features Kintaro with a red jacket and cycling sunglasses measuring 7.25" x 6.75", seen at about the 1:24 mark of the opening, featured on a printed background for presentation purposes. The matching animation drawing is also included with the lot, showing the image rendered in graphite and color pencils. The cel presents paint corrections on the surface (near Kitnaro's nose) and slight curling. Light fading is visible on the cel's linework. Very minor paint residue is present on the animation drawing. Overall, the condition is Very Good, showcasing mild handling and edge wear from production.
