Neon Genesis Evangelion "Rei I" Rei Ayanami Production Cel (Gainax, 1995). From the widely popular series Neon Genesis Evangelion, we present a beautiful 10.25'' x 9'' production cel of Rei Ayanami from episode 5 "Rei I"! The episode follows Shinji as he tried to get to know Rei, the pilot of Unit 0, but finds it difficult due to how isolated she is and the lack of information about her past. This lovely hand-painted production cel can be found at about 14:45 after Shinji visits Rei's room to drop off her renewed access card. The door is unlocked and he lets himself in, only to find Rei in a towel and fresh out of the shower. She isn't bothered, more concerned with Shinji touching the glasses on her nightstand than the awkward situation they've found themselves in. Rei measures about 6.25'' x 7.25'' on the 10.25'' x 9'' cel and is marked A4 in the upper right, displayed on a printed background of the scene for presentation purposes. Very Good condition for this detailed cel from the iconic series with only minor edge and handling wear.
