Description
The Little Mermaid Ariel and Eric Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1989). "You seem very familiar to me. Have we met?" says Prince Eric upon encountering Ariel on the beach in this remarkable production cel setup from Disney's blockbuster hit feature film The Little Mermaid. The two hand-painted characters together measure approximately 14.5" x 8", practically filling the 16 field cel setup that bears a studio seal and is presented over a matching print background. This was the last Disney feature to use traditional hand-painted cels making art from it incredibly popular with collectors. This enormous image of the title character and the prince who will make her a Disney Princess is simply amazing, and can be seen at the 49:43 mark. The art is in a 25" x 18" frame under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 16" x 9.5". and a Disney COA is in a clear sleeve mounted to the back. Condition is Very Good. All frames are sold as-is.
