Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind Nausicaä and Teto Animation Drawing (Topcraft, 1984). This lot features a phenomenal animation drawing from the Hayao Miyazaki-directed movie Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, showcasing a lovely image of the titular Nausicaä accompanied by the spirited Teto. This image of the passionate protagonist can be seen at the 41:48 mark of the film as Nausicaä explains that she's been cultivating plants from the Sea of Decay with spores she collected, and how she managed to grow them free from the pollution of the earth, making them non-toxic. Beautifully rendered in graphite with red and blue colored pencils, the two characters share an image size of 4.5" x 7" on the 13.5" x 9" animation sheet, numbered C1 on the right side of the drawing. The animation drawing has staple holes in the top right corner and has red marks on the bottom edge. With light handling and edge wear from production, this lot is in Very Good condition.
