Description

Ferd Johnson Moon Mullins Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 5 (News Syndicate Co. Inc., 1967). Five dailies dated 8-15, 8-16, 8-18, 8-21, and 9-27. It wasn't until 1964 that Frank Willard's main assistant, Ferd Johnson, who was drawing all of the episodes at the time, received a by-line on the Moon Mullins strips. Done in ink over graphite on Bristol board with approximate image areas of 16.5" x 5". The strips are slightly toned; otherwise in Excellent condition. There are also loose graphite sketches on the reverse of each of the strips.
