Description
Michael H. Price The Lake Rats Rock-Band Poster Original Art and First-Printing Poster (Cremo Studios & Hip Pocket Theatre, 2008-09). Price's original character design for the Lake Rats, a roots-rock band based at Texas' Hip Pocket Theatre, takes a visual cue from the Depression-era style of cartoon animators Hugh Harman and Rudy Ising. Cremo Studios rubber-stamp logotype appears at lower margin. Accompanied by a first-printing poster from a 2009 appearance. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with painted white retouching.
