Vampirella #8 (Warren, 1970) CGC NM/MT 9.8 Off-white to white pages. Vampirella, who had served as host of this title's horror tales, made her debut as a serious character in this issue. Another first here was Archie Goodwin's debut as writer -- Goodwin's writing and editing would make quite an impact on the Warren line. The mag has a Ken Kelly cover, with interior art by Tom Sutton, Jack Sparling, George Roussos, Frank Frazetta (one page), and "Tony Williamsune" (Tony Tallarico and Bill Fraccio).
