Description

King Neptune Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1932). The King of the Sea does damage to a pirate ship, in this original 12 field animation drawing. This Silly Symphony short, the second to be produced in color, was directed by Burt Gillett, and released to theaters on 9/10/32. This scene can be found at the 5:27 mark, after the pirates have captured one of the King's topless mermaids. Pretty hot stuff for a 1932 cartoon! The art is in graphite, with a figure size of 3.5" for the King. Matted with an opening size of 10" x 8", and framed with glass for an overall size of 16" x 14". In Very Good condition with mind paper toning.
