Description

Frank King Gasoline Alley Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-12-42 (Chicago Tribune, 1942). This wartime strip features Skeezix in the Army during World War II. In it, we discover that Buzzard's liberty is sold cheap! Created in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 19.5" x 6". Almost all of the Zipatone has peeled off, leaving much glue residue on this strip. The board is toned, with handling wear on the side margins, along with pinholes in the margins all the way around. In Good condition. From the Ray Edw Collection.
