Description

J. L. Kraemer Illustration Original Art Group (undated). J. L. Kraemer (who signed sometimes as "JL Kraemer") illustrated the Boy's Book of Adventure in 1931 for Whitman Publishing. He also appears to have done illustration work for a men's adventure magazine of some sort. This collection of seven really great drawings have a 1920s-30s setting to many of them. Most are Ink over graphite on Bristol board or illustration board. A couple have watercolor also. They range in size from 9.5" x 6" up to 15" x 15". Condition varies, as many are tanned and brittle, with some disintegrating corners and water damage. They are on average in Good condition.
