Dick Ayers and Neal Adams Food Management Magazine April-1977 Original Art Group of 2 (Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1977). Neal Adams' company Continuity Associates began life as a commercial art house utilizing Adams and several of his contemporaries brought in from the comic book industry. That includes Dick Ayers, who is cover credited with the art for this feature story, "The Subject Nobody Seems To Know Anything About". These two pieces include the full panel page that ran as page 37 in the magazine, and the piece that ran as a page-and-a-half spread on pages 40-41. As an added bonus on that latter piece, you get images of The Phantom, the Joker, Kamandi, Mandrake the Magician, and a certain Darknight Detective that we all know. Food Management was a food industry trade magazine, not sold on newsstands. The are on these is produced in ink and gouache over graphite on Bristol board. Page 37 has an image area of 10.75" x 13.75", and the page is affixed to an illustration board. The two-page spread has an image area of 17.75" x 13.75". With light tanning, these are in otherwise Excellent condition. Comes with a copy of the printed magazine.
