Description

Dick Ayers and Parmegiana Steel Sterling #7 Complete 3-Page Story Original Art (Archie Comics, 1984). The title "A Jolting Tale of Tension" was an obvious tip of the hat to the old EC Comics tales of yore. This short story was unusual in that it did not star Steel Sterling (or even any of the MLJ/Red Circle revival characters from this era of Archie Comics), and it was a completely wordless story told without any captions or dialogue at all! These are the fully finished inks by Parmegiana, created from lightboxing the pencils of Dick Ayers onto Bristol board. with image areas of 10" x 15". There are some trimmed corners, and light handling; however, the pages are still in Excellent condition overall. Note: The pages were lightboxed from original pencils, so these are inks only.
