Boy's Adventure Paperback Book Group (1948-55). Group includes two Comet Books editions (roughly 5" x 7" paperback books, a division of Pocket Books), including #27 -- Forest Patrol by Jim Kjelgaard, and #28 -- Scarface by Andre Norton. Also included are three Triple Nickel Books, published in the mid-1950s by Woody Gelman, of DC Comics and Topps fame: these are 5.25" x 7.5" saddle-stitched novelettes that sold for 15 cents; this group is from the Power Boys series (mystery stories similar to The Hardy Boys). Included are #6, Riddle of the Sunken Ship; #21, Mystery of the Marlow Mansion, and #22, The Secret of Crazy Cavern. Average condition is Fine.Auction Info
