"Classic Betty" Betty Boop Limited Edition Cel Signed by Shamus Culhane (Fleischer Studios, 1994). Here is an absolutely wonderful hand-painted limited edition cel featuring a fantastic image of Betty Boop, signed by Fleischer Studios animator Shamus Culhane. Culhane had a long career in animation, working not only for Fleischer but also for the Walter Lantz Studio, the Ub Iwerks Studio and Walt Disney Animation Studios. Most notably, he was the lead animator on the iconic "Heigh-Ho" sequence in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This unbelievably rare collector's proof is numbered 10 of only 15, and it has been long sold out for over 25 years. Displayed on a printed background and framed under Plexiglas, the mat window size is 10" x 12" with an overall frame size of 18" x 20". The cel shows little handling wear and comes with a King Features/Fleischer Studios seal. The condition is Very Good, and the frame is sold as is.
