Mort Walker Beetle Bailey Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-27-75 (King Features Syndicate, 1975). Army Pvt. Bailey and Cookie (the base's mess-hall chef, that is), in a classic quick-bite comedy of errors. Vintage Walker -- a split-second gag, brilliantly told. Ink and Zipatone shading film over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 13" x 3.75". The board is lightly toned, and the Zip is unevenly toned.
