Description
Touchdown Mickey Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1932). There's great gridiron action in this original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing from the short directed by Wilfred Jackson, first shown in theaters on 10/15/32. This was one of Mickey's earliest sports-themed shorts, and we believe it to be the first to feature football, back before the sport became as popular as it is today. In the first drawing, Mickey picks himself up out of the mud, with only seconds left to play. The art is in graphite with an image measuring 3" x 5.5" ; the number 8 is written in the lower right corner.
