Description

Bill Perry Gasoline Alley Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 6-2-68 (Chicago Tribune, 1968). Bill Perry handled the Sunday strips from 1951 to 1975 for this long-running comic strip. Skeezix, once a child in the strip, is at his family cottage in the woods with his wife Nina. The characters aged in the strip in something much closed to "real-time" than in most comic strips. Produced in ink over graphite on two sheets of conjoined Bristol board with a combined image area of 16" x 22". The logo is a paper paste-up. Light tanning, with a bit of tape residue near the joint that is taped from the backside. Pinholes in the corners. Otherwise in Excellent condition.
