Description
Dan DeCarlo Archie Giant Series #32 "Betty and Veronica Spectacular" Page 8 "Betty's Pin-Up" Original Art (Archie Comics, 1965). Betty looks sweet as cotton candy, but that side dish looks delightful as well. So naturally, Archie is be being a dog again on this gag pin-up by ace Archie artist Dan DeCarlo. Crafted twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 17.5". The Betty logo is the original stat paste-up (slightly discolored), and the "Pin-Up" title is a hand-lettered logo stripped-in from the backside. There is a "whited-out" credit box in the lower right that seems to credit the fashions on this page to Ann Urban. There is also a stray pencil mark in the right of the image area; otherwise, in Excellent condition.Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
