Description

Playboy "Big Bunny" Press Kit (HMH, 1970). From 1970 until 1976, Hugh Hefner had his very own customized jet plane, called the Big Bunny (or "Hare Force One") to fly himself and guests from party to party. This lavish DC-9 is showcased in an elaborate press kit, dated February 17, 1970. The kit includes typed descriptions of the plane, two bios of Hef, and lots of black and white photos. The photos include shots of Hef and then-girlfriend Barbi Benton; the Jet Bunnies, and plenty of views inside the plane, including an early video tape player and Hef's private quarters, with an elliptical bed. There are 18 photos altogether, and the kit is housed in a special vinyl folder/envelope with the Playboy logo prominently displayed. A few photos have minor stains from old tape holding photo captions. Overall condition is Very Good to Excellent.
