Description

Robert Webb (attributed) Two Gun Prairie Pitch Piece Presentation Comic Strip Original Art Group of 28 (1950). These strips bear the familiar styling of an Iger Shop production, most likely by Bob Webb. A detailed and well-put-together pitch presentation folder! Inside this gold embossed folder are five presentations pages with newspaper clippings supporting the popularity of Westerns in TV and movies in the late 1940s to 1950. There are also 23 fully finished daily strips for Two Gun Prairie. "Two Gun Prairie" is not a place... she's the prettiest and rip-snortin'-est woman in the Texas territory! Prairie Jane starts off in the strips as a grown woman (orphaned at an early age) who owns her own ranch. In the first 23 dailies, she gets married, widowed, and becomes the town's Sheriff! The strips are created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of approximately 19.25" x 5.5". The presentation folder has detached pages and is in Good condition. The boards are lightly toned and in Very Good condition.
