Michael H. Price Bloody Visions Vol. 3: Ladykillers: "Marie Witte: Chainsaw Dismemberment" Original Art (Shel-Tone Publ. & Cremo Studios, 1994). Price's notorious series of true-crime trading cards peaked with an all-female set, including this intense, high-contrast, crosshatched portrait of Witte, convicted in 1984 of ordering her sons to murder her husband and her mother-in-law. The likeness captures well the cold demeanor the culprit presented in court. Significantly larger than the miniature published version. Ink over blue pencil on Bristol board. Image area, 9" x 13.5".
