Description
Everett Raymond Kinstler Exciting Love Magazine Vol. 1 Illustration Original Art (Thrilling Publications, 1958). Kinstler's fine-artist credentials cross over gracefully with his equally solid career in pulp magazines and the comic-book trade. The master of emotive realism gave full measure of artistry to either field. Notes (on reverse) in Kinstler's hand indicate that this lovely pen-and-ink piece graced a story called "Our Second Romance." Signed twice -- on the art itself, and on reverse. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with painted white retouching. Image area, 11" x 14". Light toning and marginal adhesive staining. Excellent condition.
