Vic Donahue Witches Tales #10 Complete 4-Page Story "The Flash of Doom" Original Art (Harvey Comics, 1953). Before Harvey retrenched in kid-stuff comics to comply with the repressive Comics Code Authority, the company generated some of the most unnerving horror comics of the horror-heavy postwar years. One of the better such pieces is "The Flash of Doom," in which a mad scientist develops a menacing creature of electrical energy. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 11.5" x 18".
