Dick Dillin (attributed) Whiz Comics #124 Story Page 6 Original Art (Fawcett Publ., 1950). A favorite backup character in Captain Marvel's Whiz Comics, heroic Lance O'Casey, fights the thugs of a Third World dictator in this emphatic sequence. Many stylistic traits point to Dillin's artistry, many years before he would develop into a definitive artist for Blackhawk and Justice League. Ink over graphite on Bristol board.
