Art Bouthillier and Others - Gag Cartoons Inscribed to Fred Thomas Original Art Group of 5 (c. 1970s). Thomas was not only a working cartoonist (as seen in the 1970s comic strip Long Shots), but also an avid collector of work by his colleagues. This generous selection of panel gags features the personally inscribed work of Bouthillier (two pieces) and Jim Whiting, Bunny Hoest, and Ford Button. All are rendered in ink over graphite on various forms of art stock. Image areas range from 8" x 9" to 10" x 8", all professionally matted for display. Apart from faint toning and some light wrinkling, all are in Excellent condition.Auction Info
