Description
The New Batman Adventures Batgirl Production Cel Setup with Master Background (Warner Brothers, c. 1997-99). Presented is a spectacular hand-painted original production cel setup on a Master background featuring Batgirl from The New Batman Adventures. A canonical continuation of the celebrated Batman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures featured updated character designs more in line with the more recent Superman: The Animated Series, enabling crossover episodes between the two popular shows. Batgirl was featured more prominently in this new series, and this fantastic piece is a great showcase of her new design. The cel bears a Warner Brothers seal dated 2001, and the piece is accompanied by a Warner Brothers Certificate of Authenticity. The 14" x 10" setup shows minor handling and edge wear from studio use, and the cels are taped to the background rendered in gouache. The condition is Very Good.Auction Info
