Description
Wally Wood - Monster Sketch Original Art (c. 1960-70s). There was a period during Wally Wood's long and prolific career, when he turned all of the skills he had built up over the years working for MAD and other publications to produce "monster" art for trading card sets by Topps. This piece has the look, format, and feel of those cards. So it is likely a sample prepared for a related project. Rendered in graphite over blue pencil on 8.5" x 10.5" Bristol board.
