Camping Out Clarabelle Cow Animation Drawings Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1934). Mickey, Minnie, Horace Horsecollar, and Clarabelle Cow go camping in this David Hand-directed short released into theatres on 2/17/34. Presented in this lot are a trio of extraordinary drawings featuring the Ub Iwerks/ Walt Disney created character, Clarabelle Cow. Clarabelle was introduced as the best friend of Minnie Mouse and the girlfriend of Horace Horsecollar in the 1930 short, The Shindig. Here we see Clarabelle starting to do dishes before a mosquito spoils their fun. Rendered in graphite on 12 field, 2-peghole animation paper. The drawings are noted as 84, 101, 115 in the lower right. Mild production handling. Overall condition is Very Good.Auction Info
