Gene Colan Howard the Duck Daily Comic Strip Original Art Dated 7-18-77 (Marvel and Tribune Syndicate, 1977). Mind-controlled minions commit crimes as their Santa Claus-looking master unleashes villain monologue on Howard. This newspaper comic strip series was written by Howard's creator, Steve Gerber. Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 14.5" x 4.5". Signed by Gene Colan on top margin. The board is toned. The text is all hand-lettered discolored paste-ups and whiteout text correction in Panel 1. The title and credits are stat paste-ups. In Very Good condition.
