Description
Uncle Scrooge McDuck: His Life and Times Limited Edition Book and Print 3670/5000 (Celestial Arts, 1981). A lavish leather-bound, gold embossed edition reprinting selected Uncle Scrooge stories that were written and drawn by Carl Barks. Made to commemorate Barks' 80th birthday; the book includes his previously unpublished illustrated story, "Go Slowly, Sands of Time." Published by movie producer Gary Kurtz (American Graffiti, Star Wars, and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back), with a foreword by George Lucas. Included is its matching, numbered, limited edition, signed litho print of "Wanderers of the Wonderlands" with edition number 3670/5000. The print has an image area of 8" x 10" and is signed by Barks in the bottom right corner. The book was owned by former Disney Executive Lee Reems, who added a few personal mementos within the pages. Print condition is Excellent; book is in Fine condition with minor handling wear.More Information: Edit 5/26: Corrected a spelling error.
