This issue contains the first appearance of Fantomah, Mystery Woman of the Jungle, called by some historians the original female costumed crime-fighter (she appeared in print one month before the Woman in Red). Red Panther begins. Will Eisner cover. Hank Fletcher, Henry Kiefer, and Alex Blum art. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: small amount of glue on spine of cover."
