All Star Comics #5 (DC, 1941) CBCS Restored PR 0.5 (Slight/Moderate Amateur) Off-white pages. First appearance of Shiera Sanders as Hawkgirl (the first costumed super-heroine). Contains a Johnny Thunder text story, and a full-page ad for All Flash #1. Howard Purcell cover. Irwin Hasen, Sheldon Moldoff, and Bernard Baily art. CBCS notes, "Amateur restoration includes: small amont of color touch on cover, piece added to cover, cover reinforced. Top edge of first 16 pages trimmed. Wrong back cover married. Two pieces of tape on last page, one piece on centerfold. Centerfold detached."
