Alex Toth Space Angel Crystal Mace Animation Illustration Original Art (Cambria Productions, c. 1962-64). The Electronics and Communication expert on the crew of the Starduster, Crystal Mace gave Alex Toth a opportunity to draw a lovely female into this space opera series of cliff-hanger endings. Like its predecessor, Clutch Cargo, this series utilized a technique named "Synchro-Vox", which would super-impose footage of real human lips speaking the lines for the characters, placed on top of wonderful static artwork by Alex Toth.
