Description
Mother Goose Goes Hollywood Laurel and Hardy Storyboard Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). Stan is Simple Simon to Ollie's Pieman, in this wonderful original storyboard drawing. Mother Goose Goes Hollywood showcased caricatures of many Hollywood celebrities, many designed by Disney caricaturist T. Hee. The short was released on 12/23/38, directed by Wilfred Jackson. In this drawing, Ollie holds his stack of pies while Stan decides which one he wants (and it's not the pie on top, naturally). Art is in graphite with brown and red pencil, with an overall image area measuring 7.25" x 5.25". The number 16 is noted in the lower right corner. Pinholes and light handling wear; Fine condition.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Silly Symphonies. See also: Silly Symphonies artist Artist.
