George Metzger Beyond Time and Again (nn) Story Page 36 Original Art (Kyle & Wheary, 1976). Touted as being "America's first graphic novel", this book was published just in time to be sold at the 1976 San Diego Comic Convention. It told the tale of Seth, a magician who would go on a fantastic journey through time and magic. After watching Seth survive various attacks, a chance meeting with a deity, an accidental trip into the future, and "death by Snu Snu" from the last surviving enclave of Earth women, the story reaches a fiery and apocalyptic ending as the Sun goes nova! Crafted in ink and Zipatone over blue pencil and graphite on illustration board with an image area of 19" x 13.75". In Very Good condition.More information about George Metzger.
