Description

Lank Leonard Mickey Finn and Nippie Comic Strip Original Art dated 12-20-36 (McNaught Syndicate, 1936). As Mickey Finn had only just started in April of 1936, the series wasn't even a year old when this episode was released on the Sunday before Christmas. Also of note, it comes with its own "topper" companion strip, Nippie (He's often wrong!). They are created on three sections of Bristol board that have been conjoined from the backside with tape. The art is ink over graphite with a combined image area for both strips of 16" x 21". There is toning and handling, with some glue residue near the paste-up logos and where the credits slipped off. Overall in Very Good condition.
