Description
Harvey Eisenberg Cave Kids #9 One-Page Story Group of 2 (Gold Key, 1965). A rare pair of pages by the great Harvey Eisenberg (unsigned, but both pieces come directly from the Eisenberg family), from the short-lived first version of H-B's Cave Kids. In the first page, titled (in the lower margin) "Bad Fortune," Gypsy Crystal and Suzy Quartz see something in the crystal ball they don't like. The second page (titled "Rugged Route" in the margin) has Sally Stone returning home from the Super Market. Both pages are in ink over graphite with whiteout on Bristol board, with image areas measuring approximately 12" x 17.5".
