Description

All Dogs Go to Heaven Demon Production Cel Setup (Amblin/Bluth, 1989). In Charlie B. Barkin's nightmare decent into hell, he is ferried to meet the devil dog. Here is an original production cel of the skeletal canine ferryman who transports Charlie's soul across the boiling rivers of Hades. The huge 12" x 9" hand-painted image fills the 12 field cel which bears a Don Bluth seal in the lower left. The cel is over a print background for presentation purposes. It's a striking image from a pivotal scene deemed as being too scary for young audiences and ultimately deleted from the final film. The art is in a 15" x 12" frame under Plexiglass with a mat opening of 12" x 9". Condition is Fine and frame is sold as-is.
