Description
Fantasia Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice Color Model Cel (Walt Disney, 1940). Here's something unusual and quite special. It's an original hand-inked, hand-painted color model cel of Mickey Mouse from his greatest role, as the Sorcerer's Apprentice in Fantasia. What makes this so unusual is the darker blue used for Mickey's robe and Sorcerer Yen Sid's magical hat. These colors were eventually used in an episode of the original Mickey Mouse Club television series - for a Wednesday "Anything Can Happen" day broadcast focusing on magic. The cel is trimmed to an approximate size of 3.5" x 5.5", with Mickey's figure size about 4.25". There's some paint flaking that will require minor professional restoration.
